Bruker Corporation is an online service provider in need of Veterans with strong data entry skills and solid analytical skills to assist with a long term data entry project. Bruker Corporation is located in USA and we offer a great location, two weeks of training and a positive, upbeat work environment. This is a long term contract project that is ideal for veteran/spouse individuals seeking to work 30 hours plus per week. Primary responsibilities will include: Participate in strategic planning processes and assist in developing procedures and systems for a performance management program. Research industry best practices to baseline performance metrics and make recommendations for Bureau performance metrics. Receives, schedules, and makes proper disposition of telephone calls coming into the office, referring only those calls which is in his/her judgement cannot or should not be handled by him/her Assist in developing a program for evaluating the effectiveness of OBO’s activities, use of funds and human resources as these relate to current and projects workload and organizational goals and objectives. Handles all requests for meetings and appointments, decides the distribution of the supervisor's time, prepares or requests preparation of briefing memoranda indicating purpose of appointment and outlining background data. Arranges for oral briefings by appropriate officers; and discusses with officials invited to meetings in order that they will be properly informed and provided with necessary information. Schedules appointments As requested, or on his/her own initiative, makes careful and exhaustive searches for information difficult to obtain, compiles data and makes preliminary analysis Assist in developing a program for Data Quality Improvement for bureau-wide data management systems to include data reviews, reporting of data improvement areas, and procedures for working with programs offices to ensure is accurate and up-to-date. Assist in the development and utilization of risk management methodology and processes and other analytical methodology to conduct comprehensive assessments of the effectiveness of internal controls and standards Participate in the development and drafting of policy directives, regulations, and standard operating procedures relying on highly developed analytical skills in order to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Facilitate all activities to include scheduling meetings, briefings, and discussion topics; preparation of agendas and meeting minutes. Participate in working groups and ad hoc committees/meetings to provide policy guidance and assistance with the bureau standards, and regulations and policies that affect all offices in the Bureau and abroad Serve on Bureau working groups, committees, and task forces organized to provide support to the policy working groups. Engage functional programs and senior management to ensure coordination and integration of policy objectives. Provide leadership to working groups to continually assess the effectiveness of program standards and revise or update standards to ensure the maximum necessary protection of personnel, facilities, and classified information abroad. Complete other tasks as required. Requirements: Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook Familiarity with a variety of web based programs NOTE: Veteran/Spouse are strongly advised to apply.
