Pioneer/Leader of the Solar Utility industry since 2009

We are looking for highly motivated and organized leader to start a new Gen110 outreach office. The Market Director (MD) will hire, train and manage a team of 15+ part-time Outreach Specialists and will also mentor a Field Manager who will support the efforts of the Market Director. The Market Director is responsible for running the day-to-day activities of the office, creating a fun culture, territory strategy, interviewing, training, and making sure the team is getting results in the field.

Training will start in the field. It is critical that the Market Director have a high level of field competency. A new Market Director will be trained in an existing office until a high level of competence is achieved in all aspects of the job.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and run five 15-person outreach shifts per week
• Comfortable working with iPads and cloud based software
• Develop a team of 15-20 part-time Outreach Specialists to deliver weekly results
• Hire, plan, coordinate and run trainings every week
• Directly responsible for office results
• Find creative solutions to unanticipated problems
• Analyze the profitability and efficiency of the team
• Create a fun and professional work environment

Qualifications:

• Highly organized and capable of multitasking
• Intelligent and independent problem solver
• Experience running a successful canvass operation or cold-calling operation (required)
• Experience training and managing groups of people
• Strong interest in the solar industry

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $40K
• Bonus: $30K (uncapped - MD in training not eligible for bonus)
