  • Jr. Account Coordinator - Description

    BAMKO is currently seeking a Jr. Account Coordinator. This position will be responsible for project management, sales, coordinating, as well as travel (mainly within the Tri-state/New England, as well as some domestic and international travel).
    • Manage assigned accounts
    • Call prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer supplier relationship
    • Increase sales in respective accounts
    • Prepare sales information for customers
    • Manage deals through the various lifecycle stages from business needs, through design and delivery
    • Establish and maintain customer relationships
    • Establish buying influences, budgets, and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts
    • Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment
    • Prepare quotes, contracts and RFP/RFI responses for potential customers
    • Maintain all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations
    • Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends & government regulations
    • Assess costs and applying appropriate margins and mark ups
    • Work with suppliers and vendors to create production schedules and execute shipping logistics
    • Flexible hours-- must communicate with overseas offices during evening hours
    • Other duties assigned
    • Bachelor Degree
    • 2+ years of experience in either product development, project coordinating or sales industry
    • Basic sales skill
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques
    • Strong analysis and judgment skills
    • Works well in a team environment
    • Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
    • New York based and car is a plus
    • Basic knowledge of high school math
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Impeccable customer service
    • New York based and car is a plus
    • Travel to NJ twice a week
