    High profile development company seeks a full- time REAL ESTATE/CORPORATE PARALEGALwho will be responsible for assisting legal department of the organization. Must be a self-starter who is highly organized, detail oriented, efficient and able to manage multiple on-going tasks. Requires 3+ years' relevant experience (ideally real estate transactional experience in a law firm or corporate legal department). Additionally, must have understanding of legal processes and terminology. Requires excellent work ethic and the ability to work well both independently and as a team player. Must be comfortable taking initiative and working with all levels of corporate personnel as well as tenants, vendors and counterparties. Must be flexible to work overtime as needed. Will be compensated in accordance with State/Federal Laws.

    ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Prepare and review form real estate contracts including leases, confidentiality agreements, and service contracts.

    Perform general administrative duties for legal department, including composing letters, archiving and scanning, organizing calendars and setting meetings as needed.

    Assist with management of outside counsel, including furnishing appropriate documentation and processing invoices.

    Attend project status meetings and litigation progress meetings.

    Proof read documents and assist with formatting prior to release.

    Assist with other duties as requested by in-house counsel.

    OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
    Assist and cooperate with other members of the legal department and other departments as directed.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
    Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Outlook, Excel).

    Experience in law firm or corporate legal department and knowledge of legal process and terminology.

    Familiarity with financial terms and analysis.
    Able to read contracts and leases and understand the timing needed for closing.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION:
    College degree or equivalent experience.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
    Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a law firm or corporate legal department; real estate transactional experience preferred. Ideal candidate will also have familiarity with litigation process and terminology.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
    Able to multi-task and maintain good temperament during high pressure situations.

    Able to handle a variety of personality types and adapt to various working styles

    Able to carry out written and verbal directions

    Computer, telephone, fax machine, copier/scanner, binding machine.

    SOFTWEAR KNOWLEDGE:
    Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Professional, Internet Explorer
