Sr. Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst you will be involved in management reporting and analytics!

Responsibilities will include:

- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting and analysis package that includes trend and variance analysis of financial and operational data.  

- Assisting in improving key financial reporting process and data quality.

- Develop analytical procedures and high level reconciliations designed to increase efficiency and accuracy of deliverables produced and to simplify management's review. 

- Prepare various presentations for profit center and corporate management and/or provide information and analytical support for presentations. 

- Develop and presenting ad hoc reports in support of various strategic initiatives. Perform specified data analysis and studies as requested.

- Work with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives, system changes and process improvements.

- Become a subject matter expert on the management data structure, internal management reporting and variance analysis.

Position Requirements 

• Must have 3 to 6 years experience on a similar role. 
• Must have strong written and verbal communications skills, be able to communicate with senior management and be detail oriented. 
• Candidates must have a four-year college degree in accounting, finance or a related field. MBA and/or CPA are desirable.
• Must be proficient in MS PowerPoint & MS Excel, and have interest and ability to learn other financial and reporting systems.
• Knowledge of COGNOS Enterprise Planning and SAP is a huge plus.
